Tuition: Extraordinary People from History - 10 weeks - Winter 2021
$ 250.00

The greatest connection we can have throughout history is the human one.  Together, the students and I will take a unique look at each historical figure by sharing some of the lesser known facts that you may not have heard before.  We will learn about authors, scientists, statesmen and everyday people that made a significant difference in the world around them and forever changed the future.  We will begin around the year 1770 and continue through the 1930s.

Students will not only learn history but will learn various IEW Writing techniques such as brainstorming via a keyword outline, write a one paragraph and two paragraph research paper as well as various stylistic techniques.

Additionally, students will engage in reading comprehension, critical thinking, reading activities, timelines and creativity!  I can’t wait to have your child join me in this fabulous adventure meeting people from all different times and places.

NOTE:

Registration deadline is December 15, 2020.

There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
