Introduction to Mind Mapping – Two-Session Workshop – August 2020

Mind Mapping is a fabulous strategy for students to show what they know! In this two-class workshop, students will learn how to create & use mind-mapping as an effective and practical tool for understanding and explaining various ideas & concepts.
Kids should have:
- 8×11 white paper or larger, OR whiteboard
- Colored pens, markers, crayons etc…
- (OPTIONAL) old magazines with various photos, or access to a printer for printing out clip art
- Working webcam and microphone are preferred for full participation in this class (we will use chat log for primary communication, but webcam/mic will allow students to share their work with the instructor and class in real-time.)
Registration is open until 11:59pm ET on Sunday, August 2nd.

Minimum five students to run ANY class.
PLEASE NOTE: OTA will be charging a registration fee of $10.00 to cover the costs of registration processing and virtual classroom hosting. This fee will be added to your order upon checkout.
Each class session will last between 70-90 minutes depending on content and pacing.

Homework will be given – along with follow up ideas shared for parents to implement.
