Lights! Camera! Action!
In this one hour workshop, student will analyze the movie. Shane (1953), as a piece of literature. This is a classic western movie.
We will explore literary analysis such as plot development, theme, foreshadowing, setting, mood, character development, symbolism, the author’s purpose, point of view, motivation, puns, and irony. The analysis includes other aspects applicable to film such as staging and dramatic effects.
Students MUST watch the movie, SHANE (1953), PRIOR to coming to class.
The movie can be found on NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME or other streaming services.
Please make sure you can STREAM this movie prior to registering!
Students should have:
- Lined Notebook Paper
- Pen or Pencil
- Working microphone is preferred for full participation in this class
15 available seats in every class.
Minimum five students to run ANY class.
Registration is a COMMITMENT as these classes are FREE and you are taking a seat from another interested student.
Class to last between 30 – 60 minutes depending on content and instructor.
Our goal is to have your children learn something NEW!!!

NO homework given – but follow up ideas shared for parents to implement.
