Calling all questioners, tinkerers, and inventors! STEM education combines the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in an integrated, real-world approach to learning. STEM education’s integrated model provides students with the opportunity to develop higher-level thinking skills by connecting classroom learning to the real world. Lessons are project- and inquiry-based, with a focus on interdisciplinary learning. STEM education emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, creativity, and resilience.
