Are you looking for a SOLID jump start for whatever writing classes you choose for 2020 – 2021 school year? If so, this is it!

Eva Goldstein-Meola, certified IEW specialist as well as seasoned reading/writing teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience, is leading this interactive, introductory class geared towards elementary to middle, and/or upper elementary level students. In this class, students will focus on brainstorming, note taking and writing both fiction and nonfiction pieces. Writing structures can include summarizing nonfiction, narrative summaries, beginning story writing using narrative summaries and beginning report writing. Simultaneously, students will also learn how to implement various stylistic techniques to increase description, as well as remove banned words (overused, boring words) from their writing. Students will receive approximately 30 minutes of homework daily.

NOTE: Registration deadline is March 15, 2021.

There must be a minimum of 5 students to run this class.
