This course draws from the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math – collectively known as STEAM. Using the medium of LEGO bricks, we will explore epic myths and legends, build cities at home and in outer space, create original works of art, and engineer crazy contraptions.

Students will EXPLORE new ideas together; CREATE with LEGO bricks; and SHARE projects with classmates.

Classes will consist of active group discussion, group brainstorming sessions, and videos. Students will be challenged each week to employ the engineering design process as they create LEGO builds of their own design.

Students will hone presentation skills as they share LEGO builds with classmates each week.
