Open Tent Academy
Open Tent Academy is an all-inclusive, virtual environment where homeschoolers (and “after-schoolers”) can take an array of classes, taught by instructors, who are experts in their fields.
All aboard! Although COVID19 has us “socially distance” and “staying home”- that doesn’t mean your child can’t LEARN and virtually VISIT unique places. Have your students learn the history, people, culture, geography and visit these amazing sites!
During this four week class, every week we will visit another amazing place. Two inside the United States and two far off in Europe!*
Virtual field trips have completely changed the way learners experience the world outside our four walls; they are incredibly engaged through these virtual learning experiences and get excited to visit new places and see where we are traveling to next. Come along and join us!
Class will meet on the following dates:
July 8 – Mount Vernon
July 15 – Ellis Island
July 22 – Anne Frank’s House
July 29 – Buckingham Palace
NOTE: Registration deadline is July 1, 2020.
There must be a minimum of SIX students to run this class.
* Please note that the virtual field trips MAY change based on what is available on the internet!
