In this four session course, we will take a look at the current state of manned space exploration, including the ongoing activities of public/government space agencies (NASA, ESA, etc.) and private companies/partnerships (SpaceX, Boeing, Aerojet RocketDyne, Lockheed Martin, Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin, etc.). While our main focus will be on what is currently taking place in the USA-based manned space industry, we will also look at the status of several other manned programs currently taking place around the globe.

Session I – June 8, 2020: Overview – Mission Types (Low Earth Orbit, Lunar & Mars mission plans)
Session II – June 10, 2020: SpaceX (Crew Dragon, Starship) & NASA (Starliner, SLS, Artemis, and Orion – in conjunction with Boeing, Aerojet RocketDyne, Lockheed Martin, and other vendors)
Session III – June 15, 2020: Other space companies/partnerships: SNC (DreamChaser), Blue Origin (New Glenn), and Virgin Galactic (SpaceShip Two)
Session IV – June 17, 2020: Other space agencies:  (Europe/ESA, Russia/Roscosmos, India, China) and their future mission plans.
