She is passionate about the beauty and power of literature as something that not only entertains and educates, but as something that allows us to become better human beings. You will find her sharing her excitement about the lyrical, magical, musicality of the language and how it intersects with its themes and ideas.
She graduated from university at the age of 18 and has been an advocate for educational opportunities for gifted and advanced students. She strongly believes in creating opportunities for gifted students to be challenged and for their voices to be heard.
In her not-so-spare time, she melds art and writing together, is learning her fourth language, visits the beach, and finds ways to quote Shakespeare in everyday conversation. She has three children and lives on the East Coast of the United States.
